Deeply Bitten - Our Personal Vampiric Saga

We’ve been here for a short while and yet we cannot help sharing our little obsessions; among them we find stories where beautiful women represent the classical myth of femme fatale in a modern and contemporary context. An example would be the gorgeous tattooed nymph portrayed by Silvia Rubi in “Belle Dame Sans Merci” ;-)

In our latest short film, “Deeply Bitten Part One” we decided to go a bit further, exploring a darker side of this archetype: the vampire, the seductive bloodsucker. However, invaded as we are by bloody fangs and horny undead on screen and literature, we simply needed to take our time to think.

Where would we find a vampire nowadays? How would it be to have sex with one of them?

Our main character is a handsome young man who has a meeting with a mysterious woman in a dark place. Argentinian actor Andy Stone is fantastic in his complex and sensitive performance and sensual whispering voice.

For the role of the immortal creature we tried to avoid the obvious pale beauty and chose a cute girl-next-door instead, young actress Ena Sweet, who is starting to build a solid career in Spain working with several of the most respected companies. As film directors we really understand the power of the unexpected and she really nails it performing an enigmatic and desirable lady.

The situation is strange, our man gets confused and the ambient acquires the appearance of a dreamy landscape. When these two characters start talking to each other, the tension rises and so does the excitement.

This first part is just a prelude for what comes next. This guy has only walked a few steps into the rabbit’s hole. Can’t wait to see more?  Us neither.

Please enjoy!
